Between 1st and 4th September 2011, we will be offering this service free of charge to all new international students arriving in Edinburgh for the first time.
For students arriving outwith these dates, and for all other UK students arriving, the travel service is still available at the current costs, as detailed below.
Normal Fare - From £10 for one way travel to Edinburgh city centre.
Special fares for those attending key collection sessions at Craiglockhart Campus*,
£6 - Edinburgh Airport to Craiglockhart Campus
£6 - Craiglockhart Campus to City Centre Accommodation
* students who are staying in university accommodation and who attend key collection sessions at Craiglockhart campus MUST complete the online accommodation induction prior to arrival. Please click here if you have not completed this yet.
Normal fares are based on the STANDARD LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE of 1 LARGE CASE AND 2 PIECES OF HAND BAGGAGE and a REQUEST FOR TRAVEL made by EMAIL at least 5 DAYS before your date of travel.
If you are travelling with MORE luggage than 1 Large Case/Holdall and 2 pieces of Hand Baggage, PLEASE let us know. A surcharge of £5 may be levied in these circumstances. This surcharge will NOT apply to NEW students arriving for the first time.
PLEASE be honest when advising us what luggage you intend to carry. This isn't simply to allow us to levy the extra charge but more importantly to ENSURE the vehicle we utilise is able to carry you and your fellow students and ALL of your luggage.
If you turn up with excessive luggage and haven't informed us in advance you WILL be charged a surcharge of £10. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF THERE IS INSUFFICIENT LUGGAGE SPACE AVAILABLE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRAVEL.
We can also offer transfers anywhere in Scotland. Please email info@edinburghnapierdirect.co.uk for a quotation.
